A new Griha Lakshmi scheme will be launched by the Telangana government from next month. In which assistance of Rs 3 lakh will be provided to poor women to build their own house on their own land, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has announced the implementation of Griha Lakshmi Yojana at the State Foundation Day celebrations on Friday. Inaugurating the 21-day decennial celebrations in the main official program held at the state secretariat, he said that Griha Lakshmi Yojana is for the poor who have their own land but cannot build a house.

Under this scheme, Rs 3 lakh will be provided for the construction of each house in three phases. For the construction of 4 lakh houses, the government will spend Rs 12,000 crore for the implementation of this scheme. As part of the decennial celebrations, the government has also decided to distribute house plots across the state to eligible people on govt. After identifying the eligible poor, they will be allotted land in the respective villages.

About Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme 2023

The Telangana government has launched a new scheme named Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana 2023 to provide financial assistance of Rs. In this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh will be provided to the women of poor families to build their own house. This financial assistance will be transferred to your bank account through Direct Bank Transfer.

Under the Griha Lakshmi Yojana Telangana, Rs 12,000 crore will be used for the construction of 4 lakh houses in the state of Telangana and Rs 4,12 crore has been approved for the construction of 1,000,000 houses in the state of Telangana.
