Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scheme, families must fulfill the following conditions:

  • Income Limit:

    • Rural Areas: Monthly income must not exceed ₹10,000

    • Urban Areas: Monthly income must not exceed ₹12,000

  • Landholding Criteria:

    • Less than 3 acres of wetland

    • Less than 10 acres of dry land

    • Or a total landholding of less than 10 acres

  • Electricity Usage:

    • Monthly average usage should not exceed 300 units

  • Property Ownership:

    • Should not own municipal property of 1000 sq. ft. or more

  • Government Employment Restrictions:

    • Households with members employed in Central/State Government, PSUs, or receiving pensions are not eligible

    • Exception: Sanitation workers and low-paid staff earning below ₹10,000 (rural) or ₹12,000 (urban)

  • Other Conditions:

    • Family must possess a valid Rice Ration Card

    • Mother’s bank account must be Aadhaar-linked and NPCI verified

    • Student must have at least 75% attendance in the current academic year

    • Students must be enrolled in Class 1 to 12 in government or recognized private institutions

    • Children registered by NGOs or living on streets can also be considered upon verification

Ineligibility Conditions

Applicants will be disqualified if:

  • Monthly family income exceeds the specified limits

  • No valid Rice Card is available

  • Landholding is above the specified acreage

  • Ownership of a four-wheeler (except taxis, tractors, or autos)

  • Power usage exceeds 300 units on average

  • Ownership of 1000 sq. ft. municipal property or more

  • Employment in government jobs or drawing government pension

  • Student is enrolled in ITI, Polytechnic, IIIT (RGUKT) or other free-fee institutions

  • Mother’s bank account is not Aadhaar and NPCI verified

  • Students with less than 75% attendance
